South Vietnamese Navy HQ-10 Nhựt-Tảo, ex USS Serene (MSF 300), Admirable Class Variant Minesweeper.

I do draw, paint and illustrate South Vietnamese Navy's ships....and here some of them to share with the Air Force....:)
The HQ-10 (HQ stands for Hải-Quân, meaning Navy) Nhựt-Tảo was sunk on January 18, 1974 in the one day battle with the People's Liberation Army Navy while defending South Vietnam's Trường-Sa and Hoàng-Sa islands in the Paracel Islands ring.

  1. Nice sketch. I actually spent a couple weeks aboard PC 10 back in January 1968. I was a rookie Fleet Command advisor on a familiarization cruise. I don't remember the CO's name, but his US advisor was Lt. Jerry Scott.
